The Gulf Coast Community Foundation is accepting applications for the 2025 Gulf Coast Leadership Institute.

The Gulf Coast Leadership Institute is designed to grow a network of skilled, action-oriented leaders who are committed to using their leadership skills to help transform their communities through service. For the 2025 class, up to 25 people will be selected to participate in leadership development sessions over a two-month period beginning in May at Gulf Coast’s Sarasota Philanthropy Center (1549 State St.).

Applications will close on April 22. The online application, statement of commitment, and overview for the program are available at GulfCoastCF.org/GCLI.

“The Gulf Coast Leadership Institute offers a unique opportunity for individuals to strengthen their leadership skills while building meaningful connections with others who are passionate about making a difference in our community,” Gulf Coast president and CEO Phillip Lanham said. “I highly encourage current and aspiring leaders to apply and take part in this valuable experience.”

Led by faculty of the internationally acclaimed Leadership Development Institute at Eckerd College, the institute will provide leadership skills and resources necessary to positively influence the region. Class members will take part in in-person, experiential small and large group activities that prepare them to become knowledgeable, skilled, and action-oriented leaders in their community.
